So You Think You Can Dance Finale Recap August 6th

The finale show featured the top 4 dancers for the results show. The top four dancers are:

Jeanine Mason
Evan Kasprzak
Brandon Bryant
Kayla Radomski


Adam Shankerman, Lil C, Tyce Diorio, Debbie Allen, Mia Michaels joined Nigel and Mary on the judges panel.

The judges pikced their favorite dances of the season to be performed.

There was a feature on the upcoming movie "Fame". The movies features Kherington from Season 4. Debbie Allen is also in Fame.

Now for the countdown Kayla finishes 4th. Evan finished 3rd. Brandon finished 2nd. Jeanine Mason was crowned Season 5 America's Favorite Dancer.

The ninth performance show for Season 5 featured the top 4 dancers for the final performance show. The top four dancers are:

Evan and Brandon performed a pop jazz hip hop routine by Laurie Ann Gibson.
Brandon and Evan performed a jazz routine by Sonya Tayeh.
Jeanine and Kayla performed a contemporary by Mia Michaels.
Brandon and Janine peformed a paso dole.
Kayla and Brandon performed a Broadway routine by Tyce Diorio.
Kayla and Evan performed a Jive.


Thursday night is the result show where the winner will be crowned.

The four Emmy nominated routines for this year's Emmys from Season 4.
Jessica and Will from Season 4 are back performing their Emmy nominated Tyce Diorio routine from last season, "Silence."

Katee and Twitch are back performing their Emmy nominated Mercy by Mia Michaels with Katee and Twitch.

Chelsie and Joshua performed their Emmy nominated routine, Los Amigos.

Chelsie and Mark performed their Emmy nominated routine, Bleeding Love.

Sean Paul and The Jabawokeez each peformed on the show.

Melissa and Ade were sent home tonight after the audience vote.

Jeanine, Brandon, Evan and Kayla are moving on to the finale as the Top 4 dancers.

The eight performance show for Season 5 featured the top 3 couples paired together were:

Ade Obayomi & Jeanine Mason
Evan Kasprzak & Melissa Sandvig
Brandon Bryant & Kayla Radomski

Each couple performed two dances.
Lil C joined Nigel and Mary on the judges panel.

Sonya Tayeh choreographed a jazz routine for the Top 3 guys and she also choreographed a jazz routine for the Top 3 girls.


Thursday night is the result show where two dancers will be sent home.

So You Think You Can Dance Recap July 23- 100th Episode Shows

Thursday results show was the 100th episode of So You Think You Can Dance.
The show starts off with a Group Routine for the Top 8. It is One from a Chorus Line choreographed by Mia Michaels.
Former So You Think You Can Dance members in the audience. Joshua, Katie, Komfort, Travis, Kherington, and Jessica to name a few.
A So You Think You Can Dance highlight reel is showned.


Bottom Two girls: Kayla and Janette
Bottom Two boys: Jason and Brandon

The Emmy winning routines of the past seasons are performed. Hok and Jamie do The Humming Bird and The Flower choreographed by Wade Robson from Season 3.

Travis and Heidi do The Bench Routine choreographed by Mia Michaels from Season 2

Ramala is performed with the Season 2 Top 10 with Wade Robson joining them is this Emmy award winning routine from Season 2.

Katie Holmes then performs"Get Happy singing and dancing as part of The Dizzy Feet Foundation.

After each performs solos Jason and Janette are sent home .
