The season premiere of Season 5 of So You Think You Can Dance aired on Thursday, May 21, 2009 on Fox. The two premiere showed auditions for New York City and Denver. The shows continues with auditions on Wednesday,May 27th.

iHollywood Dance is a 5 day summer dance intensive taking place from July 29 - August 2, 2009 featuring an amazing faculty for you including:

According to Tivo, six dancers from So You Think You Dance will be on The Ellen DeGeneres show on May 20, 2009. This is to advertise the new season on the show which starts on May 21, 2009.

Dancers must be either a US citizen, legal permanent resident of the US, possess a current legal Employment Authorization Card enabling him/her to seek employment freely in the US (i.e., without restrictions as to employer) by the date specified in the eligibility rules. Dancers must be no younger than 18 or older than 30 years of age on the first day they register for auditions. Any dancer who is a minor in his/her state of residence must also have a parent or legal guardian sign all required documents. Thayne Jasperson to perform in Footloose in St George, Utah

Thayne Jasperson will be playing the lead role of Ren in Footloose. Footloose will be at the Tuacahn Amphitheatre, an equity stage, in St. George Utah.It plays on Tuesdays, Thursday and Saturdays until August 15, 2009. St. George is an hour north of Vegas.

Some of you may or not know a dear friend of mine Tiffany Reyes-Washington but she is in the hospital and very sick with Lukemia. My friends Maria and Nick arranged for me to teach a class and raise money so we can help her and her family out in this time of need. Even if you're not a dancer you are welcome to come down and support. Please do your best to make it! The class will be a mix of styles so be ready to get sweaty! Peace and Love to you all...
